Kai Bell, also known as Ben Ryan Barclay, spoke with a number of decoys who were posing as 12-year-old girls.
He sent them explicit pictures and videos of himself – later arranging a meet up time and place with the intention committing of further offences.
The now 20-year-old of Saint Peters Road, Newcastle, appeared at Newcastle Crown Court in February this year where he pleaded guilty to 13 offences.
And last Friday, he appeared at the same court where he was jailed for six years in prison – serving the first two months of his sentence in a young offenders’ institution until he turns 21.
He will also serve a further four years on extended licence once he is released.
