Micheal Hetherington age 64, from Peterlee, Durham was last week sentenced to 7 years imprisonment for 2 counts of sexual activity with a child and one count of supplying class A Drugs.
He also got 20 years sexual harm prevention order.
Micheal’s offending started around 14 years ago when he lived in Rugby, Warwickshire, where he groomed a 14-year-old child.
Michael would force the child to take class-A Drugs(ecstasy and cocaine),ply her with alcohol then rape her without consent.
Micheal was so controlling that he would go through the child’s phone and delete messages and remove friends he didn’t like from her Facebook account until he finally made her delete all her social media.
Micheal would abuse his victim multiple times a day telling her he had a gun, and that his brother was in the police so he can always “get around things”.
He isolated his victim so much and she felt so alone that she tried to take her own life now suffers from PTSD because of her ordeal.
