Retired northumbria police inspector Ged Fairclough age 54 who lives in the flats overlooking the river wear near sunderland University has put in a guilty plea to the charge of voyeurism against his teenage stepdaughter.
Ged has been the child’s stepfather since she was 12 years old and it wasn’t until she hit her teens that he set up mobile phones in her room in order to record her naked.
His offending came to light when when the then teenager got out of her en-suite shower and walked back into her bedroom and saw the mobile phone hidden behind a hoodie. When the video was checked Ged can be clearly seen setting up the camera and taken a step back to see what he can get in shot.
The teenager who is now an adult called her mother upon the finding of the phone and her mam told her to leave the house while she called the police, Ged was later arrested.
Get is on unconditional bail until he is sentenced on Thursday the 12th of may at Durham Crown Court.
we do know that Ged Is on dating apps such as Tinder..etc.. so we are urging any single mothers to be very vigilant letting this person into your home.
